Shivo Mobility is a family-owned company with more than 35 years of experience in the mobility industry. Built on a foundation of manufacturing expertise, strong relationships, and a commitment to quality, we have dedicated decades to providing dependable wheelchair components and supporting the people and businesses who rely on them.

Our name reflects the values that shaped our company.

The name "Shivo" was inspired by the Spanish word Chivo, meaning goat. It was a nickname given to our founder's father by his hometown community. Our owners chose the distinctive spelling "Shivo" as a tribute to his legacy and the family roots behind our business.

To us, Shivo represents strength, resilience, and perseverance. These values continue to guide how we operate, the relationships we build, and the service we provide.

Our roots in the mobility industry began with the manufacturing of wheelchair and scooter wheels and tires.

Over the years, we have supplied components to major mobility equipment manufacturers, including Invacare, Sunrise Medical, Pride Mobility, and Ki Mobility, among others.

This manufacturing background gives us a practical understanding of product construction, specifications, compatibility, and performance. We recognize that even the smallest replacement component can play an essential role in the safety, functionality, and reliability of mobility equipment.

Today, Shivo Mobility brings that experience directly to mobility equipment dealers, resellers, and repair professionals, providing access to replacement parts and components backed by decades of industry knowledge.

In 2019, we expanded our manufacturing experience into the lawn and garden industry with the launch of Carefree Wheel & Tire.

Building on our knowledge of wheel and tire construction, Carefree specializes in flat-free and maintenance-free wheels for wheelbarrows, hand trucks, lawn equipment, carts, and other applications.

This expansion reflects our continued commitment to product development, practical innovation, and applying our manufacturing knowledge across different industries.

Our primary shipping facility is located in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

In addition to fulfilling orders from our facility, we maintain relationships with trusted manufacturing partners who can drop ship select products directly.
